South Jersey Gas - Residential Loan Program

The South Jersey Gas Residential On-Bill Repayment Program offers 0% APR financing for up to 7 years, or up to 10 years for income-qualified customers, to help homeowners install eligible high-efficiency energy equipment. Monthly repayments are conveniently included on the natural gas bill. This program is available to residential single-family and duplex homeowners who are listed on the property deed and have the gas utility bill in their name. Financing amounts range from $2,500 to $25,000 depending on the type of improvement installed, such as upgrading from a standard-efficiency non-condensing furnace or boiler to a high-efficiency condensing model.The financing is unsecured, with no fees, points, or collateral required, and there is no penalty for early repayment. Eligibility is based on your utility bill payment history with South Jersey Gas, or on your credit history if you don’t have 12 months of utility data. All installations must be completed by a South Jersey Gas Participating Contractor to meet minimum efficiency requirements. Applicants must remain current on their utility payments throughout the life of the repayment agreement.To apply, you can submit an online credit application, mail or fax a completed application, or request an application packet by phone.
