Tampa Electric - Commercial/Industrial Indoor Lighting Energy Efficiency Program

Tampa Electric offers a cash rebate for commercial and industrial customers replacing their existing interior lights with energy-efficient fluorescent lighting systems. Tampa Electric will send a qualified lighting engineer to inspect the facility and make recommendations. Once installed, the facility will earn $0.15 for every watt reduced. Commercial/Industrial customers must achieve a minimum lighting reduction of 1,000 watts within conditioned spaces to be eligible. Tampa Electric also offers incentives to businesses for reducing their load during peak hours through their Conservation Value Program. Please see the website provided above for application forms.
