Program Summary

This incentive is no longer being updated. Check Mass Save programs to see the up to date incentive program. National Grid offers a variety of energy efficiency incentives for residential electric customers. The National Grid New Construction program offers incentives and technical support to help their customers who are building an Energy Star certified home. In addition, the Energy Star Rebate Program offers various rebates to National Grid's residential customers for the purchase and/or installation of certain energy efficient equipment. Rebates are eligible for lighting, heat pumps, central air conditioning, room air cleaners, refrigerators, appliance recycling, pool pumps and computer equipment. Some rebates are given at the time of purchase while others require a mail-in application.

The program website above lists the specific requirements for the different rebates available. Please call 1-800-632-8300 to schedule a free in-home MassSave energy audit. After viewing your home and talking with you in person, an expert will assess your current energy use, develop customized recommendations, and set up an appointment with a weatherization contractor.
