Efficiency Vermont offers a rebate for the purchase of a plug-in vending machine controller - specifically a VendingMi$er product - which can power down a vending machine at low traffic periods and save over 50% of energy costs in low-traffic areas. Efficiency Vermont offers a rebate of $45 for each unit. Similar products may also be given a rebate, providing approval by Efficiency Vermont. Additionally, the vending machine must be installed inside; outdoor installations require demonstration of energy savings to Efficiency Vermont.
